Gicha Silk

Ghicha is silken yarn obtained from cocoons which do not get included in the routine process of reeling in of Tussar silk directly from the cocoon. The cocoons are segregated and separately dealt with by pulling out threads slowly by hand and reeling onto earthen pots. This when spun gives a coarser to fine variety of fabric yarn
